One Big Idea
We would like to thank everyone who clearly took so much time to enter the One Big Idea competition launched in November 2009.
The judges were very impressed with the standard of all the entries and choosing the finalists wasn’t an easy task, but after much debate we are now delighted to announce the winners.
Overall winner
One Less Infection - Bushey Meads School
All our profits from the sale of these plasters will directly fund health care projects in Malawi. The plasters will not only have a clear design link to Africa, but will also promote messaging about the ethos of the One products, information about Malawi and the specific health projects themselves.
The judges felt that this entry had been carefully thought through from initial concept design to strap line, communication plan and packaging, supported by a clear focus on emphasis on one of the key issues for the Malawian people. The simple route to market (suggested stocking in both The Co-Operative retail stores and The Co-Operative Pharmacies) and product execution were supporting factors in the judges decision to make this the overall winner.
