What's in the bottle?
We've been producing One Water for quite some time now - from its very first day in the hands of Brad Pitt holding it on the stage of Live8 (way to make an entrance....1bn people watching you...) to today - it's been drunk by millions of people from toddlers to old timers. It’s how the One brand started, so naturally, we’re incredibly proud of it. It’s sourced from our One Spring in Powys Wales and we add nothing else - apart from bubbles, if that’s what you’re into.
It’s naturally pure, great tasting and a more ethical choice (we wonder why people still buy imported waters, but hey, it's a free world! After all, Duncan - the founder - does like a bit of imported Italian ham now and again):
- BUT what makes us different is that all our profit goes to fund water projects in Africa - we've given away £8m todate. Not bad for a small bunch of people on a mission.
- Did we also mention we bottle all over the world, local to our markets to minimise food miles - it's why we're now carbon neutral (the fact that we build veggie gardens in Africa helps too!)
Why One Water?
Did you know that as you read this, almost one billion people are living without adequate access to water, we're here to try to change that - we call it the butterfly effect - each one of our products carries it...check out this film to understand why.
So far, we’ve been able to provide clean water to over 2 million people. That's a lot of butterflies by any standard. Obviously we don't use real ones....that would be silly. However, if you're ever in Nairobi - try to see the butterfly migration it's like nothing you'll ever witness again.
