Nutrition

It’s easy for us to take things like food and water for granted. Water’s the stuff that comes out of taps or in cool bottles from the shop, right? And if we worry about food it’s probably that we’ve eaten too much.

Well did you know that nearly one third of children in Sub-Saharan Africa are seriously underweight and lack clean drinking water? Or that approximately 80% of Africans live in rural areas so their only option for improving their livelihoods is restricted to agriculture?

It makes you think, doesn’t it. Well it did us. So we decided to do something about it.

But throwing money at a problem and hoping it would go away was never going to work. Besides people in rural Africa don’t want one off solutions. They want the chance to change their lives for themselves. They want the tools, the training and the necessary support to break the cycle of famine and need. So that’s what we set out to do.

We are changing this, one day at a time.
