Sanitation

Over 2.6 billion people in the world don’t have access to decent sanitation. That means that they aren't able to use hygienic toilets or wash their hands with clean water - something that we take totally for granted. It means that they are at high risk from waterborne diseases and children are the most susceptible to these with over 1.8 million children under five dying each year from diarrhoea. That's over 5,000 children each and every day.
A shocking fact and we decided to do something about this. One person, one day at a time.
