Meet Kgomotso

In the past, 14-year old Kgomotso had to rely on an old windmill-powered water pump. But it broke down frequently, leaving her and her friends without water for days. Since the PlayPump has been installed at her school, attendance has gone up. Alongside their normal lessons the children are learning about the importance of washing their hands. And because water is now in such abundance there are even plans to plant a vegetable garden.
