We like simple solutions. And what better way to raise funds for HIV projects in Africa than with a condom?

With this in mind, 100% of the profit from the sale of One Condoms goes towards HIV counseling and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. This work saves lives and promotes healthier mothers and children by:

  • Preventing babies from contracting HIV through mother-to-child transmission
  • Helping to keep mothers and babies living with HIV alive and healthy by increasing their ability to access health sustaining medical care
  • Empowering mothers living with HIV/AIDS, and enabling them to fight stigma in their communities and to live positive and productive lives
  • To date, we have funded over 80 days of outreach clinic work, and each day we screen and offer counselling to over 100 people. So far, we have tested and counselled over 12,000 people.

From the latest figures available, UNAIDS estimates that in 2008 approximately 7 out of 10 deaths from Aids related illnesses were in sub-Saharan Africa, a region that also has over two-thirds of adult HIV cases and over 90% of new HIV infections amongst children.
