Congratulations to Peros and their customers on achieving the amazing milestone of funding 60 PlayPumps through the sale One water, and now One Vitamin water.
Peros have worked closely with Global Ethics since 2006 and we are incredibly proud and thankful for their support. The lives of thousands of people have been changed forever as a result of their continued support and commitment to One and PlayPumps. We were delighted to recognise Peros' achievements by presenting James Roberts and Peter Goodey, joint Managing Directors of Peros, with the Global Ethics Life Changing Award, presented by Duncan Goose at our photographic exhibition in October.

James Roberts recently visited Africa to see first-hand the impact PlayPumps have on local communities. “We are delighted to have contributed, with the help of our customers, to the building of so many PlayPumps which are greatly benefiting local communities,” James said. “Looking ahead, we are very confident that we can continue to build on our success. More and more of our customers are becoming passionate about the One Water concept and the fact that they can, through their bottled water purchases, fund their own PlayPumps. They can then take advantage of the opportunity to visit Africa, at their own cost, to witness the installation of their PlayPump and to see at first-hand the difference this makes to the local people. A number of our customers are using the occasion as an incentive opportunity - inviting some of their customers and staff to share in the unique visit,” he added.
A pupil at one of the schools where Peros have funded a PlayPump said, “I like the pump very much. There is nothing else like this around. Kids come here from all over the area to play. I come here every day, Monday... Tuesday... Wednesday... Thursday.... Friday...” Kedibone, aged 12.
