Can you imagine walking 6km every day just to collect water? That’s the reality for millions of people in the world today.

To help raise awareness of this hardship, we challenged 30 rugby players from London Scottish FC to walk a 6km circuit carrying 25 litres of water in jerry cans. Watch this video to see how the team of strong, fit rugby professionals coped.

As well as raising awareness of the global water crisis, the team has fundraised a total of £4,000 to help us hit our target of raising £20 million for water projects by 2020. Some of our favourite snaps from the day are below:
