And we’re here because we have a really simple idea. We create brilliant, quality products, and every time you buy one, we donate 100% of the profit to life-changing projects in developing countries.
The clever bit (we think)
Every one product funds a like-for-like equivalent. For example, One water funds water projects, our One Supersofty toilet tissue funds hygiene and sanitation projects, One Eggs fund poultry farms, One Kitchen Foil funds smokeless fuel stoves, and so on and so on.
In fact, we think you could create pretty much any product to fund some issue - just think about it for a second.....look around you - and then imagine what it could fund (ok, that telephone might be a challenge - but as it happens, farmers have to take crops to market - and sometimes walk for days to get there so imagine if they could ring in to check the prices before setting off....or imagine a lady in labour and needing assistance - having a community phone point would enable them to call for a midwife. There you go - you've just come up with a new product - One mobile phones. You're a genius.
